Finally managed to log on in the US. All the adults went out and left me and Samantha [my 3 yr old cousin] in the house. Babysitting her. So great. Anyway I got my aunt to set up the internet connection so now I'm on. I'm lucky.

so i happened to b chatting with earvende and ellose at that time, and then i told them and it was really funny...remembering my joke about Nek. Ah. I'm gonna do a small poll now, tag to vote. Should I use pple's real names or not? Amanda uses them while Earvende doesn't...but on the other hand the frens i link are real-named.

I wouldn't say I'm stuck with Samantha. Well now the adults are back home. And my uncle juz said I'm writing email. Rite. I am BLOGGING. typing in my BLOG, u noe? And Samantha juz came and asked if I wanted to go to sleep. Really. 3 yr old toddlers can b damn irritating.

Plus Samantha does everything I do. She's such a copycat. Ah well pple are like that. She's also kind of FAT. NOt an insult, i think everyone's fat at that age.

On elendor. Niinaeth just mailed me about the RC. Maybe not JUST. Say rather i just read it. Aniwae I was just commenting that Couriers are in essence messengers. Maybe a message mission would be ok. But then Niinaeth said that sending messages are basically RPing. Hmm. Am thinking abt wad missions can be made. Wish Varya was on. He's a joker. Brightens my day.

Now my uncle juz commented that I type very fast. Well yes I type fast, and I type perfectly.

Call this a holiday. So much homework. Ah well. Sec skool is like that. Heh. Am going away in 2 days time! Yippee!

Today had bowling. Rocked. Was selection. Well here are my scores: 127, 119, 93, 114, and the last game over hundred. just didn't finish the damn last frame cos the damn pple switched off the lanes. Stupid ****ers. Ok lah, the scores, better than usual. Well that is gd. ;). For some weird reason I do better when i haven't practised for 3 weeks [like todae] than when I practise once a week. Hm. Noreen got damn high, all 160<, except for the first one, 106. I beat her! Yeah! [Oh shit I am gloating over other's defeat. I am such a sadist.]

In Elendor I am finally ranked as Niinaeth has passed me on the mission. Heh heh. 3rd rank sucks tho so now I'm RPing with Eloriel [amanda] the history test to pass it. Ah. Nowadays I never log into Avalon or my Imladris account. Sigh. But wadevr. My Lorien one is good enuff.

Earvende had to leave early todae cos her flight woz at 2.30pm. Going to I forgot where. Lucky person. Think she'll blog? Doubtful. Aniwae, less than a week to the US! Yippee! Oh yeah yeah yeah...

Hah. Managed to finish the second mission on Elendor, which is to raise my Bethteur [language of Silvan elves] to Introductory. Good. Now I can do the +training sessions. Finally. Btw, Amanda, do me a favour? Put the history test answers in the guestbook or RL mail it to me. Tks. ;) You should really get started on the second mission. Silthalion isn't that bad.

Nowadays my RPing is getting better. Good. Then I can RP with seniors more often. Now that I think of it, I've had too much practice with setting. So I'm so good at it that nearly everytime I pose its like a set. Hmm.

Today's speech kinda sucked. It wasn't that good. Here's the speech:

Speech

Have you heard of a MUSH, or a MUD? Well, these two things have nothing to do with relationships and/or brown sticky stuff. MUSH stands for Multi-User Shared Hallucination, while MUD stands for Multiplayer User Dimension. Now these things are not meant to drive you crazy, the ‘hallucination’ is just simply a fantasy. What are they, anyway? Well, they are RPGs, or role-playing games.
There are other types as well, but these two are the most common. A MUSH is less war-based, and emphasizes on role-playing more. One MUSH I want to introduce is Elendor, a Tolkien-based MUSH that some of you have heard about. This MUSH is fairly straight forward for you to play, and does not have a definite path you have to follow.

To start playing Elendor, all you have to do is to create a character, choose your species, your race and you can get started. Elendor has a huge player base ready to help you. However most of its players are adults, so you have to act mature online, which includes not using swear words.
In Elendor you are given many choices. Once you are cultured, you have to find a job, and continue from there. If your job is a guard, you will spend lots of your time patrolling. If you are a healer, however, you will spend more time indoors. The future of your character is based on the choices you make, so make sure you are happy with your choice before taking it, as you cannot turn back.

A MUD is more violent, and can include a lot of bloodshed. There are some MUDs that are just simple hack ‘n’ slash ‘em ups, where the objective of the game is to kill everything and win. Another type of MUD is not so war-aimed, but unlike a MUSH, has a fixed path for you to follow. One of these is Avalon, a fun MUD that allows you some creativity yet is fixed enough that you do not have to ponder over your choices too often. In Avalon, you are a young Avalonian when you start out, a twenty-year-old youth. A sage will come to help you, and you will register in the college of Mercinae, your hometown. Once you are registered, you have to finish the six remaining accolades to graduate. Adventurers will guide you in those quests.
Once you graduate, you will have to join the city school. You do harder quests now, without an adventurer to guide you. You are now affected by hunger and sleep stats, and your items may be stolen. When you have finished at least two of the four courses offered, you may join a guild [that is, get a job], or stay in the school to finish more courses for a better career. After that, it is all up to you. You can be a mage or a knight, whichever you prefer. But make a good choice, because you will have to start all over again if you don’t!

There is one more concept that needs to be explained, which is being IC and being OOC. IC stands for In Character, while OOC stands for Out Of Character. When you are set IC, you have to behave like your character would. One example is in Elendor. If you were an elf you would not recognize Aragorn as the king right away. However, when you are set OOC, you may behave as you would in real life. You can toggle between IC and OOC in Elendor, however in Avalon you are always set IC.
